What are ablative laser treatments?

Since ablative lasers use more intense wavelengths, they often lead to more downtime than their non-ablative counterparts.
What are non-ablative laser treatments?
Non-ablative wavelengths create controlled thermal heating to the dermis to promote collagen production. This is done without damaging your skin’s surface (epidermis). The collagen boost can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Since they are a less invasive option, you won’t have to worry about significant downtime. However, you will probably need multiple sessions to reach your desired look.
