What to Expect
Here’s what to expect when you undergo PRFM in Dallas.
When you come to our Dallas office for PRFM injections, we will begin by carefully drawing blood from your arm. This blood will take a spin in our centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich fibrin from the other materials in the blood. We extract the PRFM into new syringes.
Using small needles, we carefully inject your PRFM into the skin tissue where it’s needed. Since the injected product is derived from your own body, there’s no need to worry about an allergic reaction from the injections. There’s no downtime associated with PRFM injections and patients are able to go about their regular activities after leaving our office.
